Battery Bank Africa is an ecosystem enabling storage-as-a-service platform for the mini-grid sector.
BBA uses alternative financing, algorithmic software, innovative control architecture and an asset leasing approach to address the high cost and technical complexity that mini-grid operators face adding and replacing storage.
Founded in 2020, Vittoria Technology is a social enterprise dedicated to achieving progress for people and the planet. We believe access to clean, affordable electricity is critical to achieving this shared progress. We are an international team applying technical design and creative interventions to scale renewable energy across developing markets in Africa.
