We are excited to bring our Battery Bank Africa platform, and more affordable & expandable storage for the mini-grid sector, to East Africa.
Along with our partners ACELERON Energy and MeshPower, Vittoria Technology has launched the battery innovation pilot, “Scaling Affordable Mini-grids through Expandable 2nd Life Batteries.” By addressing technological and financial challenges for the sector’s storage needs, the partnership’s objective is to improve uptake, economics, and sustainability of mini-grid systems. The pilot will prove the business case of the Battery Bank Africa platform and Aceleron batteries for affordable, modular, scalable energy storage – capable of servicing the sector’s complex and growing storage demands.
